NE TE RETOURNE PAS

This film is a dream, a miracle, and a pure adventure. It’s the beginning of something beautiful, marvellous and significant.
Who are we? How do we feel about and deal with the loneliness in a postmodern society such as the one of our times? Why do attraction, passions, and attachment scare us so much? Why is it that when we start to love we start to lose ourselves? This film project expresses a desire of life, which is urgent and necessary. We desire lives, the life of the spiritual world as important as the one of reality. That’s why we started to create. “I write, because I found life unsatisfied,” as Tennessee Williams once said. We want to make an author film by our aesthetic and literary choice. For us, to be free is not to work in the best condition with the most important budget, but to work with our hearts, our hands and our souls to give the best film experience to the audience. We can’t touch perfection but we can get closer to it. It was the willing of creation that united us in a free commitment; it was art itself which gave us the freedom of expression from an imaginary world to imagery. Sophia Liu
